What's the difference between a half cord and a full cord?
A full cord is 4 ft high, 8 ft long, and 4 ft deep, or 128 cubic feet. A half cord is half that: 4 ft high, 4 ft long, and 4 ft deep, or 64 cubic feet.
What kind of wood is it?
Seasoned hardwood only, split and dried about six months. Depending on the batch, it's a mix of red oak, white oak, hickory, elm, and locust.
Where do you deliver?
Delivery is free within 10 driving miles of downtown Purcellville, +$50 for 10 to 20 miles, and +$100 for 20 to 30 miles. Past 30 miles the fee is set by your address ($100 plus $5 a mile past 30). Check your address in the delivery section above.
Do you stack it?
One-time orders are delivered by dump truck and dumped in one spot, so make sure the truck has clear access. With Firewood Subscription, we install a rack and stack every refill on it for you.
Can I pick up firewood myself?
No. For liability reasons we don't offer pickup at our yard. All firewood orders are delivered.
